Transportation Driver |

MISSION: |
To provide transportaion
services to Persons through Medicaid program and other Independent living
programs.. |
DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES AND
FUNCTIONS:
I. Coordinating
transportation services, including but not limited
to:
- Providing transportation for Non-Emergency
Medical Transportation appointments
- Operating
wheel-chair lift
- Complete time/sheets/progress notes
documenting tasks performed each day of the pay period.
- Overseeing
the maintenance of vehicles
- Schedule Daily pick ups
- Tracking mileage, gas, other
services or expenses regarding transportation
- Complete monthly reports of all
transportation services provided
- Ensure all federal regualtions are
followed: Proper licensure, inspections, insurance,etc.
II. Participate in supervisory meeting and job related
training:
- Participate in phone/office meetings as
deemed necessary.
- Participate in at least 40 hours of
training each year.
III.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
required.
- Relevant experience and/or personal
knowledge of disabilities preferred.
- Familiarity with various types of
disabilities preferred.
- Must have at least a chaffeurs license
or be able to obtain license
- Current valid driver's license
- Completed Defensive Driving Course
or be able to obtain certification
- Knowlegeable and familiar with the Greater
Baton Rouge area
- Must have clean criminal background
check.
